
City officials decided to move forward with a smaller bike share program earlier this month after the Texas Dept. of Transportation held back $1.6 million in federal funds.
Instead of 20 stations, the program will start with six around Downtown El Paso and the University of Texas at El Paso using $400,000 already secured for BikeShare.
