More Funding Opportunities for Artspace

One of Downtown El Paso's biggest residential projects once again received City support for federal tax credits. Artspace Lofts will bring around 50 affordable housing units to be leased to local artists which will be used as live/work spaces.

A rule change this year to the process to apply for the credits, administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, means that the City's support for a project carries much more weight than before.

The mid-rise building will be located at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Oregon Street, next to the downtown Doubletree Hotel. It will also include 7,500 square feet of multi-purpose non-profit space.

  1. By the looks of it! the rendering to the Artspace has been change and scaled down from the original concept as oppose to the picture that was published on the El Paso Inc.
