The team behind the Artspace project in Downtown El Paso hopes the artist lofts will receive funding later this year that will help make the project a reality. An article at the Art Avenue website offers a glimpse at the newest proposed design for the building.Construction could begin in mid-2015 if the project receives federal grants. If approved, the new building will go up at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Oregon Street. Artspace offers affordable live/work spaces to artists, with plans to include 50 units in the El Paso building.
