New Tax Credit Could Help Downtown Redevelopment

A new Texas law went into affect in June that may give developers a tax credit equal to 25% of the cost to renovate historic buildings.

Combined with a 20% federal tax credit, that could be bumped up to 45% in credits. This could help entice developers on the fence about pricey Downtown El Paso projects to move forward with rehabilitation.

Read the story at the El Paso Inc. website.
