Thousands of Artisan Hotel Items Sold

Thousands of items from the defunct Artisan Hotel were sold last week at an auction set up to clear the structure and help make it ready for coming renovations. The Artisan's owner, Douglas DeSilva of Las Vegas, had packed the hotel will replica hanging art and sculptures in an attempt to revive the long-vacant hotel.

Proceeds from the auction will go towards paying off creditors still owed money after the Artisan's bankruptcy filing. New owners, Summit 11 Investment Group, will turn the empty structure into a name brand hotel.
